Biosensor Research Center

Biosensor and Nanobiosensor Group

This group has been active since 2009 in the development of knowledge, localization, and application of methods for the identification and measurement of analytes using biological elements, materials, and nanomaterials. Under the leadership of Dr. Kobra Omidfar, researchers and

students in this group pursue research projects with the following objectives:

Designing, producing, and developing diagnostic structures for the early detection of diseases, including biosensors capable of detecting analytes at the

nanoscale and biosensors based on the use of nanomaterials

Designing, developing, and evaluating new nanomaterials and nanostructures for practical applications in areas such as molecular imaging and targeted

drug delivery. The Nanobiosensor Laboratory and the Specialized Biochemistry Laboratory are subunits of this group
